The brief
“I want to look like me, only better.” For a well-known face, a smile that suddenly looks different is a problem, not a result. The design had to respect familiar proportions and work under studio lights and phone cameras alike.
The design
Photographs, video and a 3D scan; a smile drawn on her own face; a trial smile placed in the mouth before any preparation, checked in the mirror and on camera, and refined with her.
The result
Minimal preparation, temporaries fitted the same day so filming schedules were unaffected, and porcelain made to the approved design in a shade one tone above natural. A smile that reads on screen and still reads as Rawan.
