Clear aligners move teeth with a sequence of removable, nearly invisible trays, each worn for one to two weeks. For crowding, spacing and many bite problems they replace fixed braces entirely; for some complex movements, braces or a hybrid plan remain better.

Recovery and care
Aligners only work when they are worn; discipline matters more than the brand. Mild pressure for a day or two after each change is normal. Retainers are for life, usually at night, because teeth drift at any age.
