Implant Prosthodontics

Fixed and removable prosthodontics in Kuwait: implant crowns, bridges, partial and complete dentures, designed to look natural and fit comfortably.

Prosthodontics is the discipline of replacing what is missing: a single crown on an implant, a bridge across a gap, a partial denture around remaining teeth, or a complete arch supported by implants. The measure of good prosthodontics is that nobody can tell, and that eating and speaking feel normal.

Dr. Ali Majki designs every prosthesis digitally, from the position of each artificial tooth to the shade of the gum-coloured ceramic, and tests it in provisional form before the final is made. Removable dentures are still the right answer for some patients, and when they are, they are made to fit and look as well as any fixed work.

Who it is for

  • Crowns and bridges on implants
  • Implant-retained overdentures that stop moving
  • Complete and partial dentures made to modern standards
  • Replacing old prosthetics that look artificial or no longer fit

How it is done

  1. Assessment of remaining teeth, bone and bite
  2. Digital design and a provisional prosthesis to test
  3. Fabrication in the chosen material: ceramic, zirconia or high-grade acrylic
  4. Delivery, adjustment visits and a maintenance schedule

Recovery and care

Fixed prosthetics are cleaned like natural teeth with attention to the gum line; removable ones are taken out at night and cleaned separately. Regular reviews keep the fit correct as the gums and bone change slowly over the years.

Frequently asked questions

Fixed on implants when bone and health allow; a well-made removable prosthesis when they do not, or when the patient prefers it.

Not when the tooth shapes, arrangement and gum shade are designed for the individual rather than taken from a stock set.

Commonly four to six per arch, decided by bone volume and bite forces on the 3D scan.
