Recovery and care
Most patients return to normal routine the same or next day. Mild tenderness for a few days is normal; a soft diet and gentle brushing around the treated area are advised until the gum settles. Cases with excessive gum caused by jaw or lip position may need a different approach, which is discussed honestly at the consultation.
