Full mouth rehabilitation is for mouths where the problems are everywhere at once: worn-down teeth, missing teeth, old failing restorations, a collapsed bite, jaw discomfort. Treating one tooth at a time would never add up, so the whole bite is rebuilt to a plan.
Function comes first. The correct bite height and jaw position are established, often tested in temporary restorations for weeks, and only then is the aesthetic layer, the final crowns, veneers and implant restorations, made to that proven bite (any implant surgery is performed by a specialist). It is the most complex work in dentistry and it is done in stages, calmly.
