Start from what is healthy and keep it. Whitening before veneers, bonding before crowns, and preparation limited by a design that is known in advance.
Align
Move teeth into position with clear aligners before restoring them. Straight teeth need thinner restorations, or none. Alignment is the most conservative cosmetic treatment there is.
Engineer
Then build what is still needed to last: materials matched to forces, margins closed under magnification, a bite balanced and protected. Beauty is the result of the three, not a fourth step.
